This website provides general information about Personal Independence Payment (PIP). It is not legal, financial, or benefits advice, and it does not guarantee any PIP outcome.

The operator of this website is the data controller for personal data described in this policy.

What we do not collect through forms

You do not need an account to use this site. We do not ask you to submit PIP claim forms, medical records, National Insurance numbers, or similar sensitive claim data through this website.

Condition story selections and calculator choices are handled in your browser. This is a static site, so those choices are not sent to us as form submissions or stored by us in a personal database.

If you use a template page, selected story IDs may appear in the page URL in your browser. That URL stays on your device unless your browser or analytics tools send it as part of normal page-view data.

Paid-packs waitlist

If you choose to join the paid-packs waitlist, we collect your email address and which planned tier interests you. MailerLite provides and processes the signup form and sends the confirmation and waitlist emails on our behalf.

We use double opt-in. You are not added to the confirmed list until you follow the link in the confirmation email. We use this information only to validate demand and send launch or material service updates that you have agreed to receive.

Do not enter medical records, claim details, National Insurance numbers, condition information, or other sensitive information in the waitlist form.

Analytics

When configured, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and general traffic patterns. GA4 may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and browser type.

Analytics is only loaded when a measurement ID is set in the site configuration. If analytics is not enabled, no GA4 scripts are loaded.

Hosting and technical logs

Our hosting provider may automatically record technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and pages requested. This is used for security, reliability, and basic operation of the site.

Cookies

• Analytics cookies, if GA4 is enabled, to measure site use.
• Essential technical storage only as required for normal site delivery through your browser and hosting provider.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help run the site, such as hosting and analytics providers, and only as needed for those services.

Waitlist details are shared with MailerLite, our email-list service provider. MailerLite may process information in the European Economic Area or other countries under its applicable data-protection safeguards.

Some providers, including Google, may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards may apply under UK data protection law.

How long we keep data

We do not operate a user account database on this site. We keep confirmed waitlist details in MailerLite until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete them, or the waitlist has ended and the information is no longer needed. Unsubscribed records may be retained as a suppression record so we do not email you again.

Retention of analytics and hosting log data is governed by the relevant provider settings and legal requirements.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, where they apply.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
